New Advisory Group for Medical Marketing Professionals in the Life Science Industry

Morris Plains, NJ, March 24, 2009Skila and Mr. Michael Schaffer are proud to announce the creation of a unique Linked-In group; “The Medical Marketing Group.” The purpose of The Medical Marketing Group is to set industry-first medical marketing policies and guidelines and bring medical marketing professionals together in a forum designed to address the most important issues they face today. Group membership is for those who specialize in medical marketing in the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech industries. The group will tackle issues impacting medical marketing and cover such diverse topics as KOL Development, Peer-to-Peer physician mapping, and trends in the health care industry being driven at government levels – such as the Obama presidency. In order to initiate this dialog between medical marketing professionals, Skila and Mr. Schaffer will be introducing an upcoming webinar focused on changing government regulations and their effect on the medical marketing community. This webinar will be the first series for group members.

Additional webinars will also be offered on a quarterly basis, offering members exclusive perspectives from industry leaders and peers from around the world speaking on relevant medical marketing topics.
